Known for their high octane, in-your-face live show and heavy rock riffed, old school metal sound, Lords of mercy formed August of 2011. These seasoned, real deal New Jersey-based musicians have a long history of rocking the thriving NY/NJ metropolitan club circuit, with some members being part of the original legendary "Old Bridge Metal Militia" (aka O.B.M.M), a group of rock enthusiasts that has helped launch some of the top ‘Thrash & Metal’ bands the world has known, including Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, Overkill & Anvil. The band members have known each other, crossed paths in various other music endeavors and highly respected each other's talents for some time and have now UNITED to make the music that they wanted to listen to rather then what is spoon fed to the masses.
Lords of Mercy brings an original sound that is very current, but also has a classic feel which sets them apart from other hard rock/metal bands of today. Lords are not following any paths, they are making their own.
